100% JBCO is manufactured in Jamaica and shipped directly to the US. Amber’s JBCO begins on the island and is hand-pressed from organic castor beans in the traditional Jamaican way without the use of chemicals and processed manually. Instead of weltering, the seeds are cleaned, dried, baked, approved through a grinder, and then boiled to extract the 100% pure, dark oil. JBCO is high in Omega 6 and Omega 9 fatty acids, which are the building blocks for healthy cell membranes. These fatty acids help produce a natural oil barrier to the skin, aiding in keeping the skin plumper and younger looking. In addition, JBCO is high in Vitamin E, minerals, proteins and ricinoleic acid which aids in healthy hair follicles resulting in new hair growth.
